- Seven things to do before I die
- Seven things I cannot do
- Seven things that attract me to my spouse
- Seven things I say most often
- Seven books (or series) I love
- Seven movies I watch over and over again (or would watch over and over if I had the time)
- Seven people I want to join in, too
Seven things to do before I die:
- Visit New Zealand. (I would have said space... but I think New Zealand is more likely.)
- Do something on Blue Peter.
- See U2 in concert.
- Appear in a film.
- Learn to play a musical instrument. (Guitar, trumpet, drums or saxophone - whichever is easiest/cheapest!)
- Juggle with four objects.
- Go sky-diving.
Seven things I cannot do:
- Play football.
- Play golf. (In fact, pick a sport, any sport...)
- Keep a tidy desk.
- Get Things Done.
- Get organised.
- Finish things I start.
Seven things that attract me to my wife:
- I'm sorry, I just can't do this one.
- How am I supposed to do it in only seven points?
- Even if I tried and said something like, "Joni Mitchell", ...
- ... I'd have to spend half a page explaining what I meant.
- If I could describe what makes her attractive, I'd write a book and make a fortune.
- Suffice to say...
- She's gorgeous.
Seven things I say most often:
- Emm!
- The same thing three times.
- Scunner!
- The same thing three times.
- Blue, leave it!
- Yes dear.
- The same thing three times.
Seven books (or series) I love:
- The Chronicles of Narnia.
- Lord of the Rings.
- Pratchett's Discworld books (especially Thief of Time).
- What's So Amazing About Grace?
- Pride and Prejudice.
- Lemony Snickett's A Series of Unfortunate Events.
- Feersum Endjinn.
Seven movies I watch over and over again (or would if I had the time):
- Star Wars (the original trilogy).
- Lord of the Rings.
- Anything with Laurel and Hardy in it.
- A Night at the Opera and A Day at the Races.
- Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan
- Dark Star
- Rush in Rio (Sorry - I suspect that one is a bit of a cheat!)
Seven people I want to join in:
OK... let's see what you can do.
Like a real saddo, I'm peering at this through a champagne haze while my dishwasher (aka John) deals with the debris of an extremely festive evening. I'll not take you up on the challenge tonight, if you don't mind. Maybe when I'm feeling stronger .....
ReplyDeleteHa...!
ReplyDeleteSo good teachers still say things three times ....
times three...
third time!
Did it - over at my place ;-)
ReplyDeleteHello Paul
ReplyDelete"So good teachers still say things three times ..." First of all, thank you for implying that I am a "good teacher" :-) However, to be a great teacher, the three points should alliterate. Even linking the three things in some way is good ("Today, I'm going to talk to you about three ships..."). However, what I tend to do is just say exactly the same thing three times - boring rather than "good" I fear!
Chris - Thanks for picking up on this. I enjoyed reading your lists.
