Took a class today on using Flickr in school. Thought the handout I used would (with minor alterations) give me a good reason to play with Scribd:

I was for a BEd class - maybe primary teachers just have more fun. :-)
This is a great idea, and Flickr is a great resource - it's just a shame that it's not available in the very place you'd like to use it thanks to the draconian web filtering employed in schools (certainly in the primary sector).
Shame Flickr is blocked in many LA's, including South Lanarkshire...
It's more than "a shame" that it's blocked. However, maybe one day... :-)
